The art of living and surviving
This book aims to be, in addition to an anthropological look at human activities, a tribute to work that still passes through doing using the hands and body and insinuating itself into the spaces of everyday life. And in front of the photographic lens, doing becomes creativity, genius, energy. Many of the works that belong to the modern world are now untied from any physical gesture as well as from the final object produced. This is why we have decided to document the work of man in the countries we have crossed, even with its unofficial nature and the lack of protections or authorizations, work returns to being work by representing and identifying the man who does it. And it is here that the hands of farmers, artisans, mechanics, tailors, street vendors work tirelessly to support the community and guarantee a future for their families.
