BOLOGNA – MIAMI: U.S.A.
From Bologna to Miami, connecting thousands of cultural, social, scientific, entrepreneurial and sporting realities. An expedition of 64 thousand kilometers by land. Four people with two off-road vehicles from one continent to another to make reportages and make known the ‘made in Italy’ culture, but also to listen to the many voices that, along one of the most fascinating and complex itineraries in the world, tell the way of being, to work, to think in countries far from ours. Born as a journalistic road through the world, the ‘BolognaMiami’ project has turned into a real business, self-managed and devoid of aid and any logistical support along the way. A five-month-long reportage, a ‘live’ one from the most remote and lesser-known places of three continents, an expedition defined by CNN as “one of a kind and never repeated” which led Fabio Raffaelli (journalist and creator of the project) Iago Corazza (director, technical manager and organizer of the expedition), Alessandra Fontana (administration and economic management) and Greta Ropa (photographer in charge of logistics) through Europe, Belarus, Russia, Siberia, Mongolia, China, Japan, Arctic Circle, Alaska, Canada and the United States to Miami, USA.
